Royal Mail postal charges are now based on size as well as weight.
We regret that due to significant changes in Royal Mail’s price structure, from 2/4/13 the cost of postingenvelopes capable of holding prints sized 12" x 10" and above has more than doubled (click here to view the new Royal Mail price guide). This, combined with the cost of packaging materials and the VAT we are obliged to charge, makes them more expensive than our FedEx courier service when sending larger prints to UK mainland addresses (excluding the Scottish Highlands).
Unfortunately as FedEx do not offer a reasonably priced service to the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel & Scilly Isles, we will still need to use Royal Mail for these locations, even at their new inflated prices.
Whilst we are always happy to supply even single prints may we suggest that you try to accumulate larger orders whenever possible where our transit costs have remained essentially unchanged for several years.
